Hello everyone, happy holidays! I hope you all had a relaxing and fun break. I spent my time shadowing in the operating room and hanging out with my friends and family. Today I’ll be giving you a brief reflection on this past semester, along with some examples of the work I have done. I hope you enjoy!:)
Throughout the 1st semester, my teammates and I created so many amazing things from posters to videos. One of my favorite activities was the CDQ video which covered the impacts of plastic on our ocean. My video (embedded below) focused primarily on how plastic chemicals directly impact the photosynthesizing process of phytoplankton. While creating this video, I was able to do research on something I am truly passionate about- marine biology.
Another assignment we completed was the cell membrane drawing. This was a really great way to visually review for our assessment on the different parts/functions of the cell. This collaborative project allowed for 4 creative minds to come together to create something amazing. While doing research, I was able to draw and color on a detailed level (this reminded me of the elementary school days).
